REACH countries

Currently, REACH operates in 10 countries through country offices, with support by the Secretariat based in Italy. REACH work has also been implemented in 12 other countries in the past, namely: Bangladesh; Burundi; Ethiopia; Ghana; Guinea; Lao PDR; Mauritania; Mozambique; Nepal; Niger; Rwanda; and Uganda.

Countries get involved in REACH upon their request. Factors considered to initiate engagement include:
•    country needs as defined by high levels of undernutrition;
•    Government commitment and preparedness for scaling-up nutrition;
•    stakeholder interest and complementarity; and
•    availability of funding.
